My sketchbook #3

A few more sketchbook pages for the brave... I'm engulfed in Mom duties.

Another sketch from a live model

A watercolor, of which I have many. I have no memory of when I did this one, or what inspired me, but it sums up how I feel today- like a slim sliver of light shining though the eggplanty dark... I 'm obviously referring to yesterday's post...

The writer will be back tomorrow.

Live model? I don't remember ever giving anyone permission to sketch my big wide butt. Oh, that's not my butt? What? Mine's bigger?

Happy packing!

hahaha at Cate's comment above me. That was funny.

Thanks for sharing some more of your work. Hope you guys manage to get the bureaucratic situation under control.

I am likewise laughing at Cate's comment.

Love the watercolor!

I'm sure I've missed something in an earlier post, but do you plan to move your translation business with you back to Colorado? Or will you take up painting instead?

Good luck with the packing! When's the move date?

Oh Cate- you always make me laugh, which is something I REALLY need today!
As for the bureaucratic situation, I'm having images of that first Crocodile Dundee movie... the one when he is wielding that huge knife...
Hi Anno- yes, I am definitely bringing my business with me, and yes, I will continue to paint (I've never stopped)... hopefully more than I am now.

If Cate hadn't stolen the big butt line, I may just have tried it. That was funny.
Love the sketchbook pages.
Are you selling the watercolor? It feels very "me" to me. Represents a lot of things to the kind of day I have had too, the last few anyway, shadowed by a migraine all the way through.
Ah, life, eh?

Hi Jenn-
It's funny you asked about the watercolor... I've had a couple e-mails about the same thing. I think once I get my move behind me and proverbial shit together, I may start another site linked to this one displaying my artworks, including my bigger paintings. all I've shown here are things bound into my sketchbooks, which I can't sell...

Please do. I would love to see (and purchase) some of your big work.
