The Ophelia in me

I'm about 10 days away from leaving. Words are few and far between, and I'm not thinking straight. The way I feel today can best be described in an image...

Don't worry... it's not Ophelia's death wish that I relate to.

It's the way she's crazy, singing and floating in the river, with the flowers bobbing around her.

LOL. I love this. Captures perfectly the frenzy of moving and handling Italian bureaucracy under tight deadlines.

I'm actually quite relieved. Two children, busy husband, freelance translation business, transcontinental move in the works, AND daily posts? I was beginning to suspect you were more than mortal.

Love the picture! And your new header!

I think it totally understandable that a little Ophelia is rising up inside you.
It's okay. Babble away.
If I were there, you know I would help you sort it and get it all done.
If wishes could pack boxes, then you would be done in record time...

Ophelia... one of my favorite personas, especially in Italy.
anno- thanks for commenting on the header. It's a photo of a trail through the Aspens taken in September. That trail is RIGHT BEHIND MY HOME IN COLORADO!
Hi Jenn- by the way, what's that book you're reaching for in the photo? I can't quite make out the title.

Hahaha. I'm really picturing you now, acting just like Ophelia in her last scene right before she's found dead. It would be lovely if you could get it on video for us... hahaha. I can't even begin to fathom the leap you guys are about to take and all the huge preparation involved with it! Good luck with everything!!!!!

I know the book title doesn't come out real clear with the image so small. It's the KRAMER Nederlands--Engels dictionary. Which is in my hands quite often. :)

We are going to be good friends, if you are a friend of the bard.
