I'm in the midst of one of life's big pushes. This is not such a big push, but just me grinding my teeth through several large and demanding projects. Projects which force me to actually think about things like robotics and geology. You probably wouldn't imagine that I delve into those waters...
I saw a flock of the last procrastinating geese flying south the other day. I thought it looked as if they were sad to leave their beautiful home. Their wings were flapping in a kind of lackluster way. But the lake has now frozen over, and would fool anyone who didn't know better into thinking it was an immense pasture.
As I looked at the geese, I thought of Leda. I love the story of Leda, which is probably not a good thing. After all, she was fooled and taken for a ride, but there's something about her giving herself to a swan that appeals to me.
I must be tired.
