more adventures of an adult imposter

In the spirit of continuing to fake my way through adulthood, today I actually have a meeting with a mortgage broker. A mortgage broker. We're really going to try to do this house thing, and here on my turf it's up to me to figure it out.
Or fake it.
I'm going to wear my glasses.
They make me look smart.
And all grown up.

Good luck, and keep saying, "fixed, fixed, fixed."

Good luck! (I didn't think they were giving anyone loans anymore)

Lucky for you it's a buyer's market.

In bocca al lupo!

Glasses can make me *feel* smarter when I need it, so I hear you on that one ;)

Visiting at your blog this evening, trying to catch up! A mortage! What a grown up thing to do!! I remember my first experience as a single gal. You would think I showed up with my hair on fire the way they looked at me! I hope this turns out to be a positive experience! Fingers crossed and positive thoughts going your way.

Now I'm off to pick up where I left off some time in December I think...

Okay so now I've caught up and realise that you are behind!! Tell us about the new job! Are you completely exhausted but at the same time thrilled with the changes in your life? Is it what you expected? Do you like the schedule and your office mates and contacts with the world? Or do you miss working in your pjs and being your own boss?

I've enjoyed spending and evening with you and realise how much I have missed out on your lovely writing and imagery. I hope you don't get too busy that you have to stop blogging. But I also understand I really can't complain considering my own blog history. But please tell us the good news when you hear about the mortgage so we can celebrate (vicariously) with you. (And I'm curious as to what lovely image you will find to show that joy!!)
